Heli Skiing
Himalayas is full of ultimate skiing destinations. For high mountain
thrills perhaps nothing can surpass the magic of heli-skiing. Under
a deep blue sky, the skiers are carried by helicopter to a snow-draped
peak. And after that there is nothing except steadily distancing whirr
of rotor blades, the sky and the snow. It is a thrilling experience
as the skier rapidly zooms down the slopes.

Himachal the heli skiing sport is available in the area abound by
the Hanuman Tibba, Rohtang Pass, Deo Tibba and Chanderkhani Pass near
Manali. A major feature is the compactness of the heli-skiing area.
A sortie of ten minutes can carry the skiers to the top of a 14,000-feet
high slope
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi - Rishikesh (225 kms By Road)
Delhi - Rishikesh (225 kms By Road)
Day 2: Rishikesh - Joshimath/Auli (270 kms by road)
After breakfast leave for Joshimath. Arrive at Joshimath & leave
for Auli by Ropeway. Overnight at Joshimath/Auli
Day 3 - Day 5: Auli
Three days skiing on the best Ski Slopes available in the Himalayas.
Slopes have 3.8 Kms. ok cable car, 1.8 Kms. of ski lift and 3 Kms.
of chair lift on the slopes. Also equipment and instructors. Auli
provides up to 8 Kms of countryside and 3 Kms beated slopes with
lifts. Situated at 9000 - 12000 ft. slopes are supposed to be the
best in Asia for professionals as well beginners
Day 6: Auli- Joshimath - Haridwar (300 kms)
After early breakfast drive back to Haridwar. Arrive at Haridwar.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 7: Haridwar - Delhi (207 Kms)
After breakfast drive back to Delhi for onward destination. Extension
available.
