Located just 300 Km northeast of Delhi and cradled in the Himalayan foothills Corbett National Park is the birth place of the highly successfull Project Tiger which managed to control the rapidly declining population of the tiger. The best season for game watching is winter, when the birds are also in abundance.

Tiger, Leopard, Smaller Cats, Sloth Bear, Himalayan Black Bear, Wild Dogs, Jackal, Elephants, Spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Barking Deer, Wild Boar and Monkeys.

Common Birds
There are over 500 species of birds in the park. A visit to Corbett in the winter can be a life long memory for the best travelled bird watchers.
